Our Place in Space
Ages 4-10.
June 6 – August 30 on Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 & 3:30pm as well as July 6 - August 28 on Monday – Friday at 12:30pm

Help a macaw named Scarlet solve a crossword puzzle about where we live in space. Exploration starts on Earth (day/night), and goes through the solar system, and beyond.

Ages 10 – adult.
June 6 – August 30 on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm,
July 6-August 28 on Monday – Friday at 2pm

Along the way, students learn how telescopes work, the history of telescopes, and major discoveries made by these instruments. Explore the wonder and discovery made by astronomers through out the last 400 years.

Kinder Science Camp
Age: Kids entering Kindergarten
Date: July 20th – 24th
Time: 9:00 – 12:00
Location: Longway Planetarium
Fee: $85.00

This camp is bursting with hands-on science fun for little ones! Explore the properties of water, play in the garden while investigating plants and bugs, make your own tools for bubble blowing, build and fly kites along with many other exciting activities. Grown ups are welcome to stay and play!
